Gather ye weary seekers at the shores of my waters. As sachem of the
Eastern Niantic people I welcome all those who pursue hidden treasure to
share in the bounty of our harvest by the sweet waters that have born my
name for almost 150 years now. Come prepared to share your carvings and
your bounty at my refuge. We will gather two hours before moonrise three
weeks after the harvest moon to celebrate a successful hunt.

To no one in particular... seems this bit o' wheat has been lost
amongst the sea of chaff. Are Pilgrims welcome at this pow-wow?
Pumpkin cookies, perhaps?

Those who quest for the star-crossed steed shall find my people gathered at a sanctuary from the neighboring tribes embroiled in King Philip's war. I offer you peace here at the shores of the fresh water named for me as leader of the Eastern Niantics. Even the white man now acknowledges my presence over this land, though initially he named the water for the same English king for whom he named the town. I ask only that you come willing to share in the fruits of your your kitchen and of your carving. Together we will begin new pursuits...

I accept your invitation. Moonstone Baby plans to ride her pony from
the Matunuck shores to the place that bears your name to partake in
this wonderful celebration. I may bring my faithful hunting dogs,
Starfire and Sky Watcher. In honor of this event, I will bring
treasures to be shared by all. Peace to you until the appointed time.

Bummer. Just figured the whole thing out and discovered we're already
committed somewhere else that day.
